Choline is a b-vitamin like, water-soluble compound that helps support healthy liver function. Although neither a vitamin or mineral, it is a nutrient that is essential for human health. Small amounts of choline can be naturally produced in the liver, however most of the choline found in the body comes from dietary sources like meat and dairy products.
Certain people may have higher needs for choline and not get sufficient amounts from diet alone. Although choline can also be found in multivitamins or B-complex formulas, it’s often at lower amounts.
CanPrev’s Choline contains 275 mg of VitaCholine™ per capsule. This proprietary formula provides choline bitartrate, a small and well absorbed molecule compared to other supplemental forms of choline that need to go through a number of enzymatic steps before the body is able to use it.
