The traditional way is by boiling a pot of water on the stovetop and adding 1 tsp per cup of water. Bring the water to a boil and then simmer for a minimum of 10 minutes. Pour through a tea strainer (or small sieve) into a mug, adding milk or sweetener to taste. This results in a strong tasting brew that can be easily re-warmed.
